You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown goes up tonight.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't suck.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's pretty good. It's clocking in at a good pace - 50 minutes for the first act, 35 for the second - and at last night's dress rehearsal the cast had a lot of energy and remembered just about everything. Our only real glitches were technical ones. They've worked hard for five weeks and I think they have a really nice little show now. I think we have a nice little show now. I really enjoyed watching them last night and I think they're having a good time. I'm really, really proud of what they've accomplished.

Soon it will close and I can sleep. I will miss these kids (well, for the most part) and the rehearsal process, but I piggybacked this show on top of Annie Get Your Gun and I am ready for a couple of months with no rehearsals of any kind. I am very excited by the prospect of spending more time with Greg, spending more time asleep, and spending more time reading stuff that isn't required for school. I start a stage combat course on October 14th, but other than that and school on Wednesday nights I have nothing. Glorious nothing.

There was a discussion on The Usual Suspects today about this article. Scroll down to the bottom to see Jeb Bush's charming comment about how Dean is only a candidate for "hot, angry people who aren't rational." Stacey expressed a desire for a "Hot, Angry Girls For Dean" tshirt and I was all to happy to oblige.
