No Change Okay, people, it's official: I am bored out of my mind. I started school Wednesday night (my beloved Romantics! and it was great! and I will soon be writing all about it on the other site!), but that only sucked up a couple of hours and I've already read all the poems for next week. I did GRE exercises today until my eyes bugged out of my head. I applied for job after job on monster.com. I did the dishes. I got dressed and tried to return evil, evil Kiehl's Drawing Paste that made me break out horribly to bluemercury, but the manager wasn't there. I started Outlander by Diana Gabaldon and decided I don't like it. I answered all of my email, with the exception of two that I owe long responses to: someone in L.A. and someone in Kentucky, so you two gals know who you are and I will finally write tomorrow. Greg and I finished the last of the Thank You Notes of Shame (yes, I know that technically you have three months, so we are squeaking right in under the wire, but still) and now I'm paranoid that I forgot some gifts. So if you read this journal and you sent us a gift and you don't have a thank you note by the end of next week, please let me know? We watched three episodes of Buffy, three Inititive episodes for heaven's sake, while we did this. (Giles: My contrition completely eclipses the coming apocalypse.) I'm eating like crap (we're finally going back to the gym tomorrow night) and The Usual Suspects isn't running at full speed and most of my friends are working and I"m feeling whiny and bored, bored, bored. Next week, at least, I will have two classes and more studying, and I have to re-read my Brit Lit Nortons and brush up my Sherman Alexie paper for the grad school application but you can only sit in front of a book or a boring computer program for so long and I am still bored, bored, bored. No one is updating their journals. Yes, this means you. As a result, I need new things to read! If you have a journal and I don't read it, why not write and tell me about it! I am now welcoming all chatty email. Ask me questions! I will answer them here. Or in email. Either. Can you tell I need interaction? People. I've been reading Buffy fanfiction. Save me from myself, please. |
